Lifetime Achievement Award

I am surprised yet very proud. On Wednesday 10 November 2010, I was phoned by Willem de Jager, the director of the Dutch E-work Foundation. He informed me that I would be expected at their Annual Conference in The Hague on Thursday 11 November, where, at about 5 p.m., I would be presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award. I have, of course, little to add to what Willem himself said on BNR Radio. Just listen to it. But also, read the speech, and then you’ll understand why I’m so proud.
